Smart Alarm 12 Smart Alarm 12 is a micro controller based 12 window Annunciartor. This annunciator allows for field programmability of operating sequence(Auto Reset ,Manual Reset ,First Up and Ring Back) ,grouping Trip / Non Trip and NO / NC fault input through DIP switches avoiding hard wiring at the site. Our annunciators are used in many Electrical ,Chemical ,Steel ,Paper and Cement Industries successfully.Provides for potential free change over contacts for alarm and ring back hooters [contact rating 230VAC, 5A]. |

Heater Failure Annunciator ![]() Any heat treatment plant generally will have many heating elements deployed to heat up several zones and to maintain uniform temperature across the large area of an object. Such plants will also have temperature controllers to maintain the required temperature at different zones. These controllers can give an output if a temperature is found to be out of bounds and raises an alarm. But unfortunately this is only post mortem and is not an early warning. Generally the heating coils get burned out or get disconnected at the junction which causes the temperature to fall. This being the main reason, it is desirable to have some monitoring system to watch all these heating elements and give an alarm out put if any one of the heating elements is faulty and exactly indicate which one has to be replaced. This eliminates wastage or rejection in a production line. Our heater failure system is designed to sense the current through heating elements continuously and raise an alarm if current is found to be absent through anyone of the elements and exactly indicate which one is faulty. Our system also can take care of avoiding false alarm while the heaters are switched OFF by an ON/OFF controller. |

Thyristor Health Monitoring system
Several
banks of thyristors are used in very high voltage applications. In such applications
it is desired to get an alarm if one of the devices in a bank has failed [the system
can still function] while it is required to
get a trip O/P if more than one devices
in the bank has failed.
The thyristors are monitored for health condition by sensing the flow of gate current. Because of high voltages and interferences involved, one cannot think of drawing copper cables out of the control panel where these devices are housed. Instead it is required to sense the presence of gate current by looking at an LED indicator already available in the gate circuit. This requirement made us develop an annunciation system including the optical fiber cable to carry the light of the LED out of the control panel. Thus carried light is sensed and the required alarm outputs are derived along with indicators to show faulty devices.
In certain applications like semiconductor wafer fabrications, infrared bulbs [IR bulbs] are heavily used. There will be too many rejections if these bulbs fail during the process. It is required to have a system which will immediately sense fusing of these bulbs and give alarm without waiting for the temperature to fall. This is exactly like Heater Failure Annunciator with slight modification and tuning.
