Metering Indication Module

            The MIM Module is designed to show 12 different parameters of an inverter used for induction heating by switching 75 KW of power at 10 KHz. The MIM module also monitors the input power parameters and gives out Trip signal to the inverter if the input power is abnormal. MIM provides for controlling the inverter through the feather touch keys. It also houses an indication panel of 16 indicators to show the status of inverter. An LCD module of 320x240 pixels is made use of to display the measured parameters of inverter.   
The module is designed to carryout the following functionalities.

  • Provide for human interface through the seven feather touch keys to control the inverter.
  • Monitor the three phase input parameters, display the parameters on the LCD screen, provide for a signal to trip the system if the input power is not as per predefined norms.
  • Get interfaced with the inverter, control electronics to read the output parameters and display those on LCD
  • Monitor circuit breakers and indicate the trip condition.
  • Get interfaced with control electronics of the inverter to sense digital signals and accordingly control the corresponding indicators on the front panel and LCD.

MMI for Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)

            Smart LCD Printer Controller is designed to receive information from an RS232 Port [Drive port] and store it in a circular buffer memory, which can hold 128 Blocks of data(samples). Each and every block of data is also date and time stamped with the help of an on board RTC. The latest sample is displayed on an LCD display of 320 x 240 characters. The display can be scrolled “UP” and “DOWN” with the help of front panel keys to view any sample in the circular buffer. Pressing “PRINT” key on the front panel can print the sample displayed on the LCD screen. Thus it is possible to select any desired data to be printed or simply viewed. One serial port (Printer port) is used for printer interface. The memory is non-volatile so that the data is retained even after the power goes off.

       SLPC can also communicate to a centralized controller through another RS232 Port (Console port). In this case the SLPC acts like an addressed slave and supplies information or executes commands of the centralized controller, which can be a PC. Alternatively the Unit can be configured to simply send whatever information it receives on the VFD port on to this Console port apart from storing in the buffer and putting on the display and printing.

Smart Weld Thermocouple Attachment Unit

             SMART WELD - TAU 1.0 is designed to weld thermocouple wires on to a weld substrate by capacitance discharge action .It is made to be portable by adding a rechargeable lead acid battery with an in built battery charger circuit operating on 230 VAC, 50 HZ. There are two electrodes emerging out of the unit, one of which is fitted with a magnet to be attached to the substrate and the other one is fitted with application pliers to be used for holding thermocouple wire. The power control switch is used to turn the system ON/OFF. The system allows for setting energy levels (depending on the thermocouple wire thickness), for starting the capacitance charge circuit, for initializing weld operation and for configuring it into AUTO/MANUAL mode through feather tough keys. Also included on the front panel are several LED indicators showing the status of the system and two digit seven segment display to show charge Voltage/Energy level.

Power Control Module

          This is used to continuously monitor and control the operation of a Power Generator. This device is capable of displaying multiple critical engine and electrical parameters on 128*64 pixels back lit LCD Display. PCM can display more than 7 variables in 5 different formats. It gives a digital o/p with a current capacity suitable to energise solenoid to shutdown engine.Five Soft touch keys enables user to scroll through various pages and to configure the functionality.This instrument is also equipped with digital o/p for alarm and with an RS232-Serial port for communication and remote reading of parameters.

Electronic Control Panel for Printer

          This Device is designed to replace bulky control panels. The system accepts inputs from 10 electro-mechanical switches and also an analog sensor. It is provided with timers and counters and the process is run as per the preprogrammed sequence.For the user the timers are made programmable. The main feature of the unit is that low current AC loads are directly driven and the status of the various loads is shown on the 320 x 240 pixels LCD screen. Also in place of bulky push buttons feather keys are used and thus reducing space and wiring.

Power House Parameter Indicator

The parameters like winding temperatures, Frequency, Room temperature, KiloVolts and Time displayed on the panel mounted indicators are to be displayed on bigger display so that it will be visible from a distance to a larger population. The system makes use of the signals transmitted by the current transmitters and then retransmit the same signals to be used by the existing indicators with smaller display modules.
